About Me

Hi, I'm Vivek Padayattil — a data scientist and MLOps engineer who builds AI systems end-to-end, from model training to production deployment and monitoring.

My work spans machine learning, LLM-based applications, and cloud infrastructure. I've designed and deployed projects including a RAG chatbot running on a self-hosted Kubernetes cluster, and a computer vision pipeline with real-time drift detection and observability — both built with FastAPI, Docker, and Azure ML.

I hold the Azure Data Scientist Associate (DP-100) and the Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD) certifications, and I care about making AI systems that are actually reliable in production, not just accurate in notebooks.

My current focus is the intersection of large language models and robust engineering — evaluation, observability, and building systems that hold up under real conditions.
